What is Amatsu?

Amatsu is a whole-body treatment that works with soft tissues including muscles, tendons, ligaments, organs, and the Cranio-Sacral system. Treatment is specifically designed to restore and maintain normal structure, health, and dynamics of the body, utilizing a range of treatment modalities to restore natural health and balance. Unlike many other therapies, which focus their treatment on the symptoms, our unique low-level invasive approach assesses the whole body's alignment, finding the underlying structural faults that give rise to the symptoms of many painful disorders and the re-occurrence of injury.

What makes Amatsu different?

Many people become frustrated searching for solutions to their health issues. Incidentally, many treatments and approaches focus solely on the symptoms rather than examining their route causes.

Considering that everything in the body is connected, if there is trauma at a specific location in the body, it may have a ripple effect and can manifest other symptoms at a completely different location in the body. To give a practical example, pain located in the shoulder is not necessarily an issue of the shoulder. It’s route cause could stem from a sprained ankle injured a decade prior.

The slightest changes in the body will produce changes elsewhere in the body. My job as an Amatsu practitioner is to detect the tissues that are causing the distortions, and help the body to release the those tissues ound there, so the body can finally heal itself and function optimally.

A good posture is an integral factor in regards to our well-being. You don't necessarily have to be considered “sick” to see an Amatsu specialist, although most people only begin to seek out improving their health when they aren't feeling well.
